Due to our matching and correspondence facilitation services, memberships have limited refund eligibility

New Member Satisfaction Guarantee

  • 30-Day Trial: First-time subscribers may request full refund within 30 days of initial signup
  • Verification Required: Must demonstrate genuine service trial (account creation, profile completion, eligibility verification)
  • One-Time Benefit: Satisfaction guarantee applies once per person/household

Billing Error Protection

  • Full Correction: Immediate refund of any incorrectly processed charges
  • Extended Window: Report billing errors within 90 days of charge
  • Investigation: All billing disputes investigated within 5 business days

Service Interruption Compensation

  • Extended Outages: Prorated refund for service disruptions exceeding 48 hours
  • Match Delays: Service credit for matching delays beyond stated time frames
  • Technical Issues: Account credit for platform problems affecting service delivery

Annual Membership Refunds

  • 30-Day Window: Annual subscribers may cancel with prorated refund within 30 days
  • Partial Year Cancellation: No refunds for unused months after 30-day period
  • Reactivation: Canceled annual memberships may be reactivated with new terms

Physical Product Returns

  • Return Window: 30 days from delivery date
  • Condition Requirement: Unused, original packaging, all components included
  • Return Shipping: Member responsibility unless defective product
  • Refund Processing: 5-10 business days after return receipt

Non-refundable Circumstances

  • Monthly subscriptions beyond 30-day new member period
  • Partial month usage after cancellation date
  • Dissatisfaction with pen pal matches (matching preferences may be adjusted)
  • Violation of Terms of Service resulting in termination

Cancellation Policy

  • Immediate cancellation available: Email support@patriotpenpals.com or submit a request via patriotpenpals.com/support.
  • Effective date: End of current billing cycle (no partial refunds except new member period)
  • Final services: Current matches remain active until billing cycle end
  • Monthly plan cancellation: Automatic renewal stops immediately. Access maintained through current billing period. Resume anytime with current pricing
  • Annual plan cancellation: New matches stop, existing matches continue
  • Refund Eligibility: Only within first 30 days (prorated)
  • Reactivation: Contact support to discuss options
  • Cancellation confirmation: Email confirmation sent within 24 hours
  • Support Access: Account history retained for 2 years for support purposes
